Writers
Every writer passes a grammar test, a subject test and trial orders before they work on yours. Writers are listed by ID to protect their privacy, and their ratings come only from completed orders.
Know a writer you liked?
Enter their ID (like W1023) on the order form and we offer your order to them first.
Order with a writer IDHow we test writers
Only applicants who pass every step are accepted, and their work keeps being checked on every order.
Every paper is read before you get it. Our quality team checks it against your instructions, runs a plagiarism scan and sends it back to the writer if anything is missing.
Application and degree check
Writers tell us their degree, subjects and experience, and upload proof of their qualifications.
Grammar and style test
A timed test on English grammar, punctuation and academic style.
Subject essay
A short paper in their main subject, marked by an editor for argument, sources and referencing.
Trial orders
New writers start on shorter papers with closer checks before they can take longer or urgent work.
Ongoing ratings
Client ratings, on-time delivery and revision requests decide each writer's level and which orders they can take.
Writer levels
Writers move up as they build a record. Higher levels can take longer and more complex papers. Ask for a top writer on the order form if you want one of the two highest levels.
| Level | To reach it | What they can do |
|---|---|---|
| Beginner | Passed all tests | Up to 2 orders at a time, bids on orders |
| Intermediate | 20+ orders, rating 4.0+ | Up to 4 orders at a time, bids on orders |
| Advanced | 100+ orders, rating 4.5+ | Up to 6 orders at a time, can take orders straight from the board |
| Expert | 300+ orders, rating 4.8+ | Up to 10 orders at a time, can take orders straight from the board |
